Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 22, 2026

Ground Stop has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or contact details, and we could not identify you from anything the app collects.

What the app collects

Ground Stop uses Google Firebase to understand how the game is played. Firebase collects a randomly generated installation identifier, an anonymous user identifier, and gameplay events — which level was started, how it ended, how long it lasted and how far you got. Firebase Crashlytics also collects crash reports, which include the device model, the operating system version and a technical description of the failure. None of this is tied to your identity, because we do not have it. Google's handling of this data is covered by the Firebase Privacy and Security page and the Google Privacy Policy.

Why

To see where players get stuck and which levels are unfair, and to find crashes. That is the whole of it.

What we do not do

Your data is never sold or shared. There is no advertising in Ground Stop, no advertising identifier is collected, and nothing is used to track you across other apps or websites.

Apple services

Game Center handles leaderboards and the scores you submit to them. iCloud stores your own progress in your own iCloud account, where we cannot see it. The App Store handles any purchases. All three are Apple's services, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy rather than this one, and your progress and scores are never sent to us.

Retention and deletion

Analytics and crash data are retained for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically. To have data associated with your installation deleted sooner, email support@groundstopgame.com from the device in question and we will remove it. Deleting the app also stops all future collection.

Children

Ground Stop is suitable for all ages. It contains no advertising, no chat, no user-generated content and no purchases of consumable currency, and it collects nothing that could identify a child or anyone else.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, the EEA or California, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Because we hold no information that identifies you, in practice this means the installation data described above; write to the address below and we will act on it. Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the game.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes we will update the effective date above. Questions to support@groundstopgame.com.
